You never bathe twice in the same river, and yet
May 31, 2016, Chalette sur Loing
- 9 AM, for an installation project I’m working on a map of the Loire basin, positioning water level gauges (water height sensors)…
- 11 AM, I go get bread, I see water flowing across the street behind and the neighbor reassures me…
- 3 PM, we move as much as possible upstairs…
- 5 PM, 40 cm of water in the house and garden.

I import the data captured by the Chalette sur Loing water level gauge between March and August 2016
April-May 2019
- Exhibition at Les Tanneries
- Video projection on the façade of the Montargis town hall
- The water level gauge graduation also becomes, in the aesthetic of the overall project, a graphic motif adapted as a geometric and signage element identifying the different projects. I position the image of a water level gauge on 5 façades (Montargis town hall, Musée Girodet, Moulin Bardin, Silo Caproga and Les Tanneries), thus marking 5 stages of a journey.

The Water Level Gauge Path
- The entire narrative of the 15 witnesses of “Too Close to the Loing” and the photographs marking this route constitute a collective self-portrait “The Water Level Gauge Path.” A path that will now remain to be traveled through the seasons.
