“Spoken Topography, a journey into the reliefs of speech corpora”
Each “spoken topography,” a 3D spectrum of the voice, moves and modifies the elevations of the geographical area where one of the 18 chosen languages is spoken.
(Basque, Breton, Cèmuhî, Corsican, Guadeloupean Creole, Réunionnais Creole, Drehu, Flemish, French (Bangui, Aix-en-Provence, Nyon, Orléans, Quebec), Judeo-Spanish, Kabyle/Berber, Maore, Occitan, Picard).
It is within the relief of these landscapes that the voice sculpts and models, through its movement, intensity, and tone, a new panorama.
A Duo mode allows for the activation of a meeting between two voices, two languages that together transform a recomposed topography of the reliefs of all these places.
The segmentation of the transcription and translation is present in a classic reading area located at the bottom of the landscape (the T key on the keyboard allows switching between Transcription/Translation).
The entire scene is in 3D and allows for diverse viewpoints.
