The Anguison is a small river that springs from the hard belly of the Morvan and then frolics in leaps, capers, and vegetal caresses over 22 kilometers before ending up in the tender arms of the Yonne, which itself marries the Seine.
That’s why we asked artists, these experts of the gaze, to come and poke around in the Anguison.
Guykayser is one of these artists who, together with a dozen people (Julie Morlon, Aline Fayard, Joëlle Meuter, Martial Glaunig, Anne Daveau, Bertrand Halm, Jean Paulin, Sophie Le Béguec, Patrick Peignelin, Sylvie Roche, Claire de Sédouy), agreed to trawl the river and its surroundings.
The result is this astonishing collective portrait-landscape offered to you online, which confirms our belief that indeed: “the Anguison makes us billionaires by refreshing our spirits”
“A Piece in the Anguison, that’s happiness galore” is an artistic project proposed by TéATr’éPROUVèTe designed to reveal the cultural potential of all those seemingly unimportant elements that belong to our immediate surroundings.
